Germany announces 26-man squad for 2026 World Cup
Germany has officially announced their 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The squad list, published by dpa, includes a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talents across all positions.
In goal, Germany will rely on Oliver Baumann of Hoffenheim, veteran Manuel Neuer of Bayern Munich, and Alexander Nübel of Stuttgart.
The defensive line features Waldemar Anton and Nico Schlotterbeck of Borussia Dortmund, alongside Nathaniel Brown of Eintracht Frankfurt. They are joined by Pascal Groß of Brighton & Hove Albion, Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich, David Raum of RB Leipzig, and Antonio Rüdiger of Real Madrid. Jonathan Tah, now representing Bayern Munich, and Malick Thiaw of Newcastle United complete the defensive unit.
In midfield, Bayern Munich players Aleksandar Pavlović, Jamal Musiala, Leon Goretzka, and Lennart Karl form a strong core. They are complemented by Nadiem Amiri of Mainz, Jamie Leweling and Angelo Stiller of Stuttgart, Felix Nmecha of Borussia Dortmund, and Florian Wirtz of Liverpool.
Germany’s attacking options include Deniz Undav of Stuttgart, Kai Havertz of Arsenal, Maximilian Beier of Borussia Dortmund, Leroy Sané of Galatasaray, and Nick Woltemade of Newcastle United.
