How do Armenian citizens illegally involved in “military service” on Azerbaijani territory Video evidence
On September 16, Azerbaijan once again ensured the free passage of people of Armenian origin via the Lachin border checkpoint to Armenia.
As local media outlets reported from the scene, up to 100 people freely crossed from the checkpoint in the direction of Armenia’s Gorus region.
When reviewing the documents of such individuals, Azerbaijani border guards discovered that there was an Armenian citizen illegally involved in so-called “military service” in Azerbaijan's internationally recognised territory.
The conversation between an Azerbaijani border guard and a perplexed soldier of the Armed Forces of Armenia leaving Garabagh attests to the fact that Armenia is sending its citizens to join illegal armed detachments in Azerbaijani territory, where a Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed.

Following the Second Garabagh War, about 2,000 Russian peacekeepers have been deployed for five years in Garabagh under the trilateral cease-fire deal signed by Baku, Moscow and Yerevan on November 10, 2020. The signed agreement obliged Armenia to withdraw all its troops from the Azerbaijani lands that it had occupied since the early 1990s.
Armenia, contrary to paragraph 4 of the trilateral statement, still does not withdraw the remnants of the Armenian armed forces from the region. Armenia continues to send servicemen to the region in violation of Article 6 of the statement.
