Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, has shared a visualisation of the new master plan for the reconstruction of Garakhanbayli village in the Fuzuli district, liberated from long-term Armenian occupation during the 2020 Patriotic War.
The village will feature distinctive modern architecture, with top-quality living conditions planned for its residents, Caliber.Az reports.
The master plan was prepared by the Baku State Design Institute of the Committee.
The plan envisions the construction of private houses and low-rise apartment buildings to accommodate 6,000 residents.
Under Azerbaijan’s First State Program of the Great Return, 100 settlements in territories liberated from occupation are set to be restored by 2026.
