"If we trust Sargsyan and Oskanian, Armenia will lose its independence" Statement by Pashinyan supporter

Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party MP Gevorg Papoyan has said that if Azerbaijan wants peace, Yerevan is ready.

"A peace agreement will be signed when agreement is reached on some issues,” Caliber.Az reports that, citing Armenian media.

The MP emphasised that "we are ready to sign a peace agreement within the red lines."

The MP from the ruling party also commented on the statements of former Armenian President Sargsyan and ex-Foreign Minister Oskanian.

"Sargsyan and Oskanian are rejected people whom we sent to the political garbage dump. They are messengers of war. Who thinks we should give them a mandate? We cannot resort to adventures, trust Oskanian and Sargsyan. That would mean the loss of Armenia's independence. Their statements are desperate, convulsive movements from the political garbage dump," the MP said.
