Iran determined to enhance ties with Azerbaijan - foreign minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that Iran is determined to expand relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan in all fields.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, according to the Mehr news agency.

Referring to the importance of relations with neighbouring countries, especially Muslim nations, he emphasized that Iran favours having comprehensive relations and cooperation with the Azerbaijan Republic.

Mousavi, for his part, presented the latest reports about the developments related to the relations between Tehran and Baku to the foreign minister.
