Iran ready to respond to aggression from any third country, says Parliament speaker
Iran is prepared to respond to any aggression originating from the territory of a third country, said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of the Iranian Parliament.
Ghalibaf emphasized that Tehran does not seek to expand the war but is ready to respond appropriately to any attack, even if it is initiated from outside Iran’s borders, Caliber.Az reports, citing global media reports.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the US has set up intelligence posts in Armenia's Syunik Province. These posts are intended to monitor the situation in Iran, raising additional concerns for Tehran. The deployment of US forces near the Iranian border is seen as part of a broader US strategy to contain and exert influence on Iran.
This increased US military presence in the region may escalate tensions and provoke retaliatory measures from Iran. As global and regional uncertainties grow, both nations appear to be enhancing their military and intelligence capabilities, creating the risk of a potential conflict.
