Iran, Russia and China discuss Geneva nuclear talks in Tehran meeting
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, held talks in Tehran on Thursday evening with the ambassadors of Russia and China, focusing on developments surrounding nuclear negotiations and bilateral matters.
According to Caliber.Az, the Iranian official announced the meeting in a post published on the social media platform X.
The discussions were attended by Russia’s ambassador to Iran, Alexey Dedov, and China’s ambassador, Cong Peiwu. The meeting took place in Tehran and addressed recent developments connected to the nuclear negotiations held in Geneva, along with a number of bilateral issues.
“At a joint meeting with the ambassadors of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, we discussed the latest developments related to the nuclear negotiations in Geneva, as well as several bilateral issues,” Gharibabadi wrote.
He added that Iran, Russia and China intend to maintain active consultations and close coordination on key matters within the framework of their strategic relations.
