Islamic Games: Azerbaijani weightlifter wins seventh medal for national team Tenis players grab bronze / PHOTO

Azerbaijani weightlifter Ravil Almmammadov (79 kg) won a medal at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He earned the silver medal by lifting 155 kg in the snatch. This marks the seventh medal for Azerbaijani weightlifters at the Games, Caliber.Az reports via local media outlets.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s female table tennis team claimed a bronze medal at the same event. In the semifinals, the team lost to Egypt 5-8, securing third place overall.

The 6th Islamic Solidarity Games are scheduled to conclude on November 21.
