05 September 2022 13:30
Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid has said that Israel has approved an aviation agreement with Türkiye.
The next step in normalising relations between the two countries is the appointment of ambassadors, TRT Haber reports referring to Lapid.
“As a government, we have approved an agreement to make flights between Türkiye and Israel,” the Israeli prime minister said on Twitter.
Lapid said that Israeli airplanes can now land and take off from Istanbul and other Turkish cities thanks to the agreement.
