Italy lifts all COVID-19 entry restrictions for tourists from June 1

From June 1, Italy is cancelling all covid entry restrictions for tourists, Gazeta.ru was told in the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.
According to ATOR, travellers will not be checked for vaccination certificates, negative PCR tests and a certificate of recovery from coronavirus infection. In addition, from June 15, the mask regime will be cancelled in cinemas, theatres and private events.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement that the Green Pass ("Green Certificate") for entry into Italy, which expires on May 31, will not be extended. In this regard, entry into the country will be according to pre-pandemic rules, which means that a Schengen visa will be required.
