Karabakh horses take part in royal show in UK
The Windsor Royal Horse Show traditionally held in Great Britain kicked off.
The press center of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan told Report that the event held in the territory of Windsor Castle was the first performance of our delegation of 60 people that made a long way from Azerbaijan to Great Britain.
Despite rainy weather, our country was represented at a high level by a dance group and a 20-horse State Border Service cavalry unit and won the sympathy of the audience.
The basis of the Land of Fire composition, which conveys the numerous material and spiritual wealth of the Azerbaijani people, was the Karabakh horses, already well known to the Windsor public and having won a whole army of fans here, as well as elegant Azerbaijani dances and exciting national music.
The show composition prepared with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and organised by the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was directed by Honored Journalist Rovshan Jahangirov, choreographed by Honored Artist Farid Ibrahimov and instructed by cavalryman Imran Ahmadli.
The show composition consisting of the unique sound of "Karabakh jangi" performed on national musical instruments, incendiary dances of the "Border Guard" dance ensemble, performance of SBS riders on the Karabakh horses, unusual performances of fire-blowers literally captivated the audience in the UK.
During the 15-minute show, special attention was drawn to the fact that the national flags of Azerbaijan and Great Britain were flying over the heads of the riders.
Participants of the event greeted the show program with ovations, and the spectators gave a standing ovation to the representatives of Azerbaijan.
Performances of the Azerbaijani delegation will continue until May 14.
