Kazakhstan, Pakistan's leaders mull expanding space cooperation
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held talks in a narrow format, focusing on scaling up the cooperation in space, digitalisation, and in other strategic spheres.
The leaders noted the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan in recent years, and also discussed prospects for strengthening political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian ties, Caliber.Az cites the Telegram post of Kazakh President's Office.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to expanding cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, digitalization, space, and finance.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shehbaz Sharif exchanged views on current regional and international agenda issues.
Caliber.Az recalls that Tokayev arrived in Pakistan on February 3 on state visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation including senior cabinet ministers and other officials.
