Kazakhstan preparing to hold CSTO drills, President Tokayev says

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said that the Kazakh authorities are actively preparing for the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) exercises "Unbreakable Brotherhood - 2024" and "Rock 2024" in autumn 2024.

Tokayev made the remarks during a meeting with the speakers of the CSTO parliamentary chambers, TASS reports.

The leader of Kazakhstan called it necessary to have the forces and means of the CSTO collective security system in a high degree of readiness.

Tokayev also noted the need to take effective practical measures to combat terrorist threats and ensure the safety of citizens of the CSTO countries.
