"Kharibulbul" International Music Festival beginning in Azerbaijan’s Shusha
Today marks the commencement of the VII International Music Festival "Kharibulbul" in Shusha.
According to Caliber.Az, festival, jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, will unfold across Shusha and Lachin until May 13.
This year's festival program stands out for its expanded roster of performers and a rich array of repertoire and performances. Preceding the festival's kickoff, final preparations were underway on the Jidirduzu plain in Shusha.
The festival was reinstated in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, on May 12, 2022, when Azerbaijan regained control over the city during the Second Karabakh War in 2020.
Since 1990, the Kharibulbul festival has received international status. Inviting folklore groups from foreign countries to the event aroused great public interest.
