Kremlin spox says Russian, Armenian leaders may meet on EAEU summit margins
29 November 2023 17:02
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are not scheduled to communicate soon.
However, it is not ruled out that a meeting can take place between the leaders in St. Petersburg on the sidelines of the EAEU summit, Caliber.Az reports.
“You know that a traditional New Year’s event is planned at the end of December [informal CIS summit]. It will be working. If Mr. Pashinyan arrives there, and they are waiting for him, like everyone else, then there will be a great opportunity to talk. Unless the heads of state consider it necessary to do this earlier. This will be their decision,” Peskov said.
