Legendary Real Madrid star Manolín Bueno passes away

Spanish footballer Manolín Bueno, two-time European Cup winner with Real Madrid, has passed away at the age of 86, the club announced.

“Real Madrid C. F., its president, and its Board of Directors deeply regret the passing of Manolín Bueno, one of Real Madrid's great legends” Caliber.Az cites an official statement published on the club’s website.

Manolín Bueno defended the Real Madrid jersey for 12 seasons. During that time, from 1959 to 1971, he won 2 European Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 8 Leagues, and 2 Spanish Cups.

The club did not specify the cause of death.
