Lewandowski bids farewell to Bayern fans

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has shared a post saying goodbye to the fans of his former club Bayern Munich.

Earlier, FC Bayern on its official website announced the transfer of Lewandowski to FC Barcelona.

 “First of all, I would like to thank the fans. We, the players, are only here for a moment. This moment lasted eight wonderful years, which I will forever keep in my heart,” Lewandowski wrote.

Lewandowski announced his decision to leave Bayern during the summer transfer window on May 30, 2022. He has already been late for the training of his club three times before the start of the season.

The Polish striker scored 35 goals during the last season of the German Bundesliga and became the top scorer of the tournament. The contract agreement between the Polish striker and Bayern Munich was valid until summer 2023 before he joined FC Barcelona.
