Lithuania to build three new military bases for domestic, NATO forces PICTURE

Lithuania is going to construct 3 new military infrastructure bases inside its territory to be used by the country's domestic forces. 

Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas announced this on his official Twitter account on January 7. 

"We are currently building 3 new military campuses in Lithuania. They will provide excellent conditions for our troops and our allies. This will make a significant contribution to our national security", his post read.

According to European Integration, the sites will be built in the capital region of Vilnus, as well as Šiauliai and Šilalė and are to be utilized by NATO allied troops as well.
