MFA spox: Date of next meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs still unknown

The exact date of the next meeting between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, is still unknown, MFA Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada told Report.

He said that the process of peace negotiations between Baku and Yerevan continues.

"Currently, the process is ongoing. On August 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov touched upon this issue at a joint press conference with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib. There is currently no information about new meetings," A. Hajizadeh said.

The official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Armenia has made new proposals to Azerbaijan regarding the peace agreement.

It should be noted that the last meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia took place on July 25 in Moscow.

On August 24, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting that Armenia had submitted new proposals to Azerbaijan regarding the signing of a peace agreement.
