Minister: COP29 unveils promising opportunities alongside key responsibilities
During the signing ceremony of COP29 preparation documents, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and COP29 President, Mukhtar Babayev, emphasized the significant opportunities presented by the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
According to Report, this event, held in Bonn, reaffirms Azerbaijan's pivotal role as the host country.
Drawing upon Azerbaijan's extensive experience in organizing global gatherings, Minister Babayev expressed the country's commitment to fostering transparency, action-oriented initiatives, and inclusivity throughout COP29. He emphasized Azerbaijan's dedication to showcasing a hospitable environment conducive to meaningful discussions and impactful outcomes."
The signing ceremony for pertinent documents regarding preparations for COP29, slated to be hosted by Azerbaijan, took place in Bonn, Germany on June 8.
