Missing soldier's family abandoned by government in Armenia, says his wife

It has been more than a year in Armenia and the family of contract serviceman Vahe Manukyan does not know where he is.

The servicemen reportedly disappeared on November 12, 2021, from the combat positions of the Armenian Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

According to the Armenian media, missing Vahe Manukyan's family is not provided with social support by the government.

On December 22, the wife of the contract soldier, Liana Meliksetyan, held a protest in front of the government building. In an interview with journalists, she said that she has three children and the government does not provide her with any social support.

“Are we talking about the missing chicken, how can it be that there is no information about my husband?” the woman said.
