National chess player ranks second at French Open Blitz Championship

Azerbaijani chess player Namig Guliyev has taken second place at the French Open Blitz Championship held in Le Port-Marly.

He scored 11 points, losing only on additional indicators to the Frenchman Maxime Lagarde, who became the winner of the tournament, according to azerisport.com.

A total of 432 chess players took part in the competition.
