Nikol Pashinyan's son talks about incident with his kidnapping
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a criminal into an incident against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's son Ashot Pashinyan.
The case was initiated in the Department of Grave Crimes of the Yerevan Investigation Department, Caliber.Az informs, citing the Armenian media.
The case was launched on the basis of the testimony of A. Pashinyan. According to him, at about 1 pm on May 17, while he was walking along Garegin Nzhdeh Street, he was noticed by the parents of servicemen who died during the 2020 war. They approached, and one of the women offered to sit in a car parked nearby and talk quietly. When they got into the car, the woman started the engine and drove away, declaring that they would drive a distance so that the others would not interfere with them.
Seeing that the woman was speeding, A. Pashinyan demanded to stop. The woman replied that her son, without asking her, was taken away and killed, so she can kill him, so she has nothing to lose: she will take him to the Yerablur military pantheon, where she will decide whether to let him go or not.
Seeing that the car slowed down at one of the intersections, A. Pashinyan jumped out of the car on the way to the roadway. When he stood up, he was hit by a white Toyota, in which, according to him, there were the parents of the dead soldiers who were driving behind them. After that, he ran into a supermarket located at a crossroads.
The specified woman was detained, and measures were taken to study data from traffic surveillance cameras.
