No Ukraine peace summit planned with Russian participation - Kremlin
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitri Peskov has confirmed that no peace summit on Ukraine involving Russia is currently in the works.
"There is no summit with Russia's participation being planned," Caliber.Az reports, citing Peskov.
He noted that while there have been occasional suggestions from participants of previous events about including Russia, these ideas have not materialized into concrete plans.
Peskov further explained that Russia sees no point in attending an event that aims to decide Ukraine’s fate without its involvement, calling such a meeting "impossible and pointless".
He acknowledged that some have proposed inviting Russia to future discussions, but emphasized that any participation must be based on a specific agenda that aligns with Russia's interests - an agenda that has yet to be presented in the context of these planned conferences.
