Numerous athletes to join "Dear Shusha" international competition VIDEO

The number of cyclists who will take part in the "Dear Shusha" international cycling competition, organised by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and the Shusha State Historical and Architectural Reserve, has been unveiled.

Up to 80 athletes from 10 countries will compete in the tournament, which will last two days, the ministry told Report.

The first stage will be held in the Pirallahi district near Nerekend park on July 9, 2022. In this round, cyclists will compete in a 21 kilometre-individual race.

The second stage will be held on July 10, 2022, and will start from the Fuzuli International Airport to the Karabakh Hotel in Shusha. Athletes will compete in the group relay race at a distance of 71 kilometres on the last day of the competition.
