Oklahoma governor congratulates Azerbaijan on Independence Day PHOTO

The Governor of the US state of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, has congratulated Azerbaijan on Independence Day.

His relevant official statement was quoted in a message from the US embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs. 

"Happy Independence Day from Oklahoma State!

Since 2003, Oklahoma and Azerbaijan have maintained a close partnership through the National Guard Partnership Program. Given the close ties between the people of Azerbaijan and the state of Oklahoma, Governor Kevin Stitt issued a declaration dedicated to Azerbaijan Independence Day [May 28] and the union between Oklahoma and Azerbaijan,” the embassy said.
