"Operation Çember-22" sweeps Türkiye: 3,126 arrested in nationwide raid
Turkish Police have raided 81 provinces as part of “Operation Çember-22” against individuals wanted by the courts and who have arrest warrants.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on social media that, a total of 3,126 people have been arrested, Caliber.Az reports.

“For the past 5 days, Operation Çember-22 has been carried out across 81 provinces targeting individuals wanted by the courts and who have arrest warrants. A total of 3,126 people have been arrested, including 497 for theft, 199 for fraud, 87 for robbery, 65 for murder, 92 for sexual crimes, 561 for drug-related offences, 281 for smuggling, and other crimes,” Yerlikaya declared.
