Görgün emphasised that the strong performance in March is part of a broader trend, noting that total defence sector exports for the first quarter of 2025 have grown by 72 per cent compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of $1.7 billion.
This growth reflects Türkiye's increasing capabilities in the defense and aerospace industries, which have been bolstered by both innovation and strategic partnerships. The country's defence exports, including advanced aerospace technologies and defense systems, have become a crucial component of its economic and geopolitical strategy.
