The targeted organised crime groups were led by prominent crime figures based in various regions, including leaders operating in Kahramanmaraş, Adana, Sakarya, Balıkesir, Antalya, Istanbul, Mersin, and Kütahya. Among them were individuals detained abroad and others who have absconded, with operations focusing on dismantling their criminal networks across these provinces.
The extensive operation led to the detention of 142 individuals, with 86 of them formally arrested. Additionally, judicial control decisions have been applied to 19 of the suspects, while the legal process is ongoing for the remaining individuals.
In the course of the operations, law enforcement seized a variety of illegal items, including unlicensed firearms, specifically pistols, and substantial quantities of drugs. The authorities continue to investigate the links between these organised crime groups and their illicit operations across Türkiye.
As investigations continue, authorities are working to dismantle these criminal networks and bring those responsible for illegal activities to justice.
