Organisation of Islamic Cooperation supports Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia
Some 57 OIC member states expressed concern about the Azerbaijanis forcibly expelled from Armenia.
The OIC member states expressed support for their peaceful and safe return to their native lands at the summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, held in Banjul, Gambia on May 4-5. Moreover, the heads of state and government condemned the desecration and destruction of Muslim cultural heritage in Armenia.
Thus, the OIC became the first international organisation which expressed support for the return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia. The Western Azerbaijan Community is confident that such support will contribute to the peaceful return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia to their homeland, the Western Azerbaijan Community told Caliber.Az.
