PKK leader neutralised in Türkiye’s MIT operation in Iraq PHOTO
One of the PKK/KSK leaders, Fehmi Ogmen, and two wanted terrorists on the grey list were neutralised in the northern Iraqi village of Sulaymaniyah through the efforts of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
An operation was carried out in the rural area of Chemchemal Sulaymaniyah against one of the top leaders of the PKK/KSK in northern Iraq, Fehmi Ogmen, codenamed "Sinan Digvar", who joined it in 1993, conducted terrorist activities in the country and abroad for many years, and personally organised many actions in Türkiye, according to security sources in Ankara, NTV reports.
During the operation, Ogmen, who was wanted on the grey list, as well as local commander Mehmet Salih Chakal codenamed "Mazlum Kocher" and their driver Ahmed Muhammad Ali codenamed "Ararat Tolhildan" were neutralised.
