"Escapes from the PKK terrorist organisation, whose hideout we entered during the Pençe operations, continue. Two PKK terrorists who escaped from a hideout in northern Iraq surrendered at our border post in Habur. The only way out is for the terrorists to surrender to Turkish justice," the report said, according to Caliber.Az.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US and EU – has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is PKK’s Syrian offshoot.
