PM urges CSTO to clarify responsibility before sending mission to Armenia
08 February 2023 19:27
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Armenia is grateful to its partners in the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) for the readiness to send a mission, but asks to clarify the responsibility of the organisation in the country.
Pashinyan made the remarks during a meeting in the Armenian parliament, TASS reports.
“We are grateful to our CSTO partners who are ready to send a mission. We appealed to the CSTO with a very important request to clarify the responsibility of the CSTO in the Republic of Armenia, that is, to tell us where the territory of Armenia is. If the mission does not know where the territory of Armenia is, how can it tell whether the territory of Armenia is occupied or not?” he noted.
