Presidential aide: AI has become part of everyday reality in just two years

Artificial intelligence (AI) has evolved from an emerging technology into an integral part of everyday life in just two years, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.

Hajiyev said the rapid pace of AI development underscores the growing significance of the forum, which he described as one of the region's leading platforms for discussing emerging media trends, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

“The topic of AI was discussed at the Shusha Global Media Forum. Back then, it was still in its infancy, and for some, presentations prepared using AI came as a surprise. In just two years, artificial intelligence has already become part of our reality," Hajiyev said.

He also warned that while social media has expanded opportunities for communication, it has accelerated the spread of disinformation and manipulation.

"Digital platforms have given a voice to billions of people, but sometimes it becomes more difficult to separate truth from lies," the presidential aide emphasised.
