The qualifying stage has begun for Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024.

Enzo Fittipaldi of Van Amersfoort Racing achieved the fastest time in the earlier free practice session for Formula 2. In Formula 1, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen clinched victory in the first practice session. September 13 will also feature the second free practice session for Formula 1, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

During the first free practice session of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc’s car collided with the barrier at Turn 15. As a result, a red flag was raised, and Leclerc’s vehicle was removed from the track.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 is being held in Baku on September 13-15, 2024. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is a Formula One motor racing event that was held for the first time in 2017.
