The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup starts in Baku today.
Report informs that the competitions to be held at the National Gymnastics Arena will last three days.
In the World Cup, Azerbaijan will be represented in the individual program by Arzu Jalilova, Zohra Agamirova, and in group events by Gyulu Agalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Hummatova, Elizaveta Luzan and Daria Sorokina.
140 gymnasts from 33 countries will take part in the competition, 44 of them individually, 96 as part of a group (15 groups). The gymnast and team with the most points will receive the traditional AGF Trophy.
The competition organized today will be the 9th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku. In 2005 and 2019, Azerbaijan hosted the world championship in this sport.
