Russia, Belarus sign 14 defence agreements Including five-year military partnership programme
Russia and Belarus have signed 14 agreements, including a five-year programme for strategic military partnership, the Russian Defence Minister, Andrey Belousov, announced.
“Today we signed 14 documents, including the programme for strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the military sphere for the upcoming five-year period,” Belousov said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The agreements aim to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation, with both countries set to continue mutually beneficial collaboration. This includes plans to equip the Belarusian armed forces with modern, high-precision and high-tech weaponry.
“Mutually beneficial partnership, including the provision of modern, high-precision and technologically advanced weaponry to the Belarusian army, will continue,” Belousov added.
