Russia's Shoigu inspects execution of defence contracts at Tactical Missiles Corporation

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has checked the progress of the implementation of the state defence order by the Tactical Missiles Corporation (TMC).

The Russian Defence Ministry told TASS that the minister visited the company's production workshops for an inspection.

"The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, has inspected the progress of fulfilling the state defence order at the defence industrial complex enterprise Tactical Missiles Corporation in the Moscow Region. The head of the Russian Defence Ministry together with the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov inspected the production shops of the enterprise and the technological process of assembly of high-precision weapons," the report says.

The head of the TMC reported to Shoigu on the doubling of the production of high-precision arms. "The head of the corporation Boris Obnosov reported to Army General Sergei Shoigu on the implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation to increase the pace of production, which were given following the results of the inspection in March 2023. Over the past six months, the production volumes of high-precision destruction means have been increased twofold, and for certain nomenclatures of manufactured products three and a half and five times," the military department said.
