Russia shoots down four Ukrainian drones over Tula — governor
Air defence systems shot down four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russia’s Tula region overnight on February 26, regional governor Dmitry Milyaev said on his Telegram channel.
“According to preliminary information, there are no casualties and no damage to infrastructure has been recorded,” the governor stated.
On the night of February 24 to 25, Russian air defence systems intercepted and shot down 69 Ukrainian drones, Russia’s Ministry of Defence said, adding that the largest number of drones — 24 aircraft-type ones — were downed over the Bryansk region. Eighteen of the drones were targeted over Crimea, 14 over the Smolensk region, three over the Black Sea, three more each in the Tula and Oryol regions, and one drone was shot down in each of the Kursk, Kaluga, Belgorod, and Moscow regions.
