Russian embassy extends gratitude to Azerbaijan for support after tragic Moscow attack
Flowers were laid in front of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan in connection with the terrorist attack that occurred in Moscow on March 22.
As APA reports, people come to the embassy building, lay flowers, and read prayers in memory of those killed in yesterday's tragedy.
A memorial book has been opened online at the embassy.
The head of the press service of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan, Elizaveta Glerezka, said that all of Russia was shocked by what happened. She noted that Baku residents bring bouquets of flowers to the embassy as a sign of support in connection with the tragedy:
“We thank everyone who did not remain indifferent and sincerely shares this pain with us.”
The embassy representative expressed gratitude to official Baku, recalling that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Ali Asadov and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed condolences to Russia.
