Russian FM: Another 3+3 meeting to be held soon

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that another 3 + 3 meeting will be held soon.

Lavrov made these remarks at a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara city, according to Report.

He also noted that Georgian colleagues failed to participate in such meetings, however, they would always be welcome if they wanted to join the meetings.

Moscow suggests the establishment of a new format in the Caucasus, comprising three Caucasian states -- Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia -- and their three “big neighbours” -- Russia, Turkey, and Iran.

The format will address the issues of security, unblocking economic and transport ties.
