Russian strike hits postal warehouse in Ukraine's Kherson region Photo

A postal warehouse in southern Ukraine’s Kherson region was hit in a Russian attack, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

Emergency crews responding to the incident came under repeated drone strikes while working to extinguish the resulting fire, Caliber.Az reports. 

“While extinguishing the fire, the Russians repeatedly attempted to attack the personnel using drones. The rescuers were not injured—they took cover in time. The fire has been extinguished,” the service said in a statement.

No casualties among emergency workers were reported. Authorities did not immediately provide further details on the extent of damage to the facility.
