Russian strikes damage infrastructure across Ukraine’s Chernihiv region PHOTO/VIDEO
Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Chernihiv region have resulted in significant damage to infrastructure across multiple populated areas, the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced.
In the city of Chernihiv, a garage cooperative was heavily impacted, with 8 garages completely destroyed and 96 others sustaining damage. A private residential home was also struck, and an administrative and storage building at a municipal facility was destroyed.
In the Koryukivka district, Russian drones targeted a local enterprise as well as the grounds of a private residence, causing further destruction.
Meanwhile, in the Nizhyn district, a single infrastructure facility came under attack.
The strikes highlight the continued targeting of civilian and municipal infrastructure in northern Ukraine, underscoring the ongoing humanitarian and logistical challenges faced by local authorities in the region.
