Security chief: More western spending means more land back in Russia
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, warned that the more the West spends on supporting Ukraine, the greater the amount of territory that will eventually “return” to Russia.
His remarks were posted on his Telegram channel, Caliber.Az reports.
“Half a trillion euros. That’s how much the West has given to the Banderite clique since 2022. A lot? It depends on how you look at it,” Medvedev wrote.
“On one hand, it’s insanely much. Even accounting for how much the bloody Kyiv clowns (hereafter — KKK, not to be confused with the American racist Ku Klux Klan) embezzled from circulation. And the newly minted KKC stole immeasurably. But even considering the wild theft by the Banderite regime — it’s still outrageously, catastrophically much. With this money, one could have built a new neutral and prosperous Ukraine. But that was not destined to happen,” he added.
Medvedev drew a parallel with US spending in Afghanistan: “On the other hand… the indestructibly free United States spent $2.3 trillion in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021, only to transfer power from the Taliban to the Taliban.”
He concluded that Western financial support for Ukraine would ultimately fail and backfire. “The more the Western world spends its resources supporting the KKC, the worse the end of the story will be for the regime of bloody Kyiv clowns. And the larger the territory that will eventually return to native Russia. And it will happen just like it did for the US in Afghanistan. There will be a return of our citizens and Russian authority to historically Russian lands,” Medvedev stated.
