Serbian leader slams EU mission in Kosovo
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has accused the EU mission of lying on establishing democracy through law in European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo.
He voiced the relevant remarks while addressing citizens, Gazeta.Ru reports, citing Tanjug.
Serbian authorities recently arrested three Kosovo police officers. Vucic called on EULEX to come to Belgrade so that the Kosovo police officers detained could talk about the conditions of taking a lie detector test.
"They shot six Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija and did not detain anyone, EULEX says it is closely monitoring the situation and does not monitor anything, except that Serbs are being expelled, and for the arrest of three Albanians Serbia was threatened indirectly and directly," the president said.
According to the Serbian leader, the EULEX mission ignored a recent case of mistreatment of Serbs by Kosovo police. Vucic said that, police kicked a boy, Kristjan, and dragged his sister, Dara, across the ground. Both victims were minors. Vucic also recalled cases of use of firearms by the Kosovo police.
"The only people I can say they have not made a mistake are the NATO command and the KFOR fighters," he added.
