Six drones shot down while approaching Moscow, mayor says

Six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) heading toward Moscow have been intercepted and destroyed by Russian air defence forces, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated.

In his latest update, Sobyanin said that an additional three drones targeting the Russian capital had been shot down by air defence units of the Russian Defence Ministry.

“Another three drones flying toward Moscow have been shot down by the Russian Defence Ministry's air defence forces. Emergency services specialists are working at the sites where the debris fell,” Sobyanin said.
