Six injured, including five children, in minibus crash in Russia
Six people, including five children, were injured in a traffic accident involving a minivan in Russia’s Stavropol Krai, regional authorities said.
According to the press service of the local traffic police, the driver of a minibus transporting underage passengers from Nalchik to a judo competition in Astrakhan lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and into a ditch. Five children and the driver sustained injuries in the crash, Caliber.Az reports.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and the injured were provided with medical assistance. The severity of their injuries has not been publicly detailed.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Stavropol Krai has launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities said the inquiry would examine compliance with road safety regulations, with particular attention to the circumstances of the crash and the timeliness and quality of medical care provided to those injured.
