St. Petersburg police intervene in anti-Azerbaijani demonstration PHOTO

Russian authorities prevented an unauthorised protest targeting Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg on August 27.

The demonstration was organised by members of E. V. Limonov's National Bolshevik Party, “The Other Russia,” outside the Azerbaijani consulate.

According to reports from Russian media, cited by Caliber.Az, law enforcement officers intervened promptly, stopping the protest before it could escalate. Three individuals involved in the demonstration were detained by police.
