Ten injured after two passenger buses collide in Russia’s Kazan
Ten people, including four children, were injured in a traffic accident involving two passenger buses on Gorkovsky highway in the Russian city of Kazan, authorities said on May 28.
According to the Tatarstan Ministry of Health, all of the injured are in moderate condition and no serious injuries have been reported, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The four children involved in the crash are being transported to the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital, where their condition has been assessed as satisfactory.
Emergency services dispatched five ambulance crews to the scene following the collision.
Russia’s Investigative Committee in Tatarstan has opened a criminal case under an article related to the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, authorities said.
Officials have not yet released details about the cause of the accident, and an investigation is ongoing.
