Three people die from injuries after bullfight in Spain
Three people have died as a result of their injuries after a bullfight on the last day in Spain.
During the national entertainment at the celebration in the Spanish Autonomous Community of Valencia, in addition to two Spaniards, a 60-year-old French tourist also became a victim of bulls, Lenta.Ru reports referring to the ABC newspaper.
All three were mortally wounded after being hit by horns at the races.
The victims were taken to hospitals, but they could not be saved.
A total of 478 people were injured in bullfighting this year.
The Spanish Senate approved a law according to which bullfighting is recognized as a cultural property of the country in 2013.
The decision was made in order to protect the art of bullfighting from attempts by the public and some political forces to achieve a ban on bullfighting due to moral and ethical principles.
